Rationale
The Sacrament of Confirmation is one of the seven Sacraments celebrated in the Catholic Church. The Sacrament of Confirmation is often celebrated during the time students are in Primary School. The content on this website looks to further develop the themes and ideas associated with the Sacrament of Confirmation in line with the Parramatta Diocese. The information and recourses look at the important commitments we make to one another and to our faith.
The information that is included can work as a scaffold to support, nurture and encourage students with their individual faith journey. It is only through our connections with one another, the school and Parish communities that we can put into action the message of Jesus. The lessons we learn, and the commitments we make today will support the choices we make in the future.
" Catholic Education strives, as a work of love, for the full human development of students, grounded in the teachings of Christ and at the service of society" (Parramatta CEO).
